Steam Whistle’s Oktoberfest

As confusing as this is to most North Americans, most of Oktoberfest actually happens in Munich during the last bit of September.  It’s a 16 day festival that ends on the first weekend in October.  So don’t be surprised as you see Oktoberfest events starting, well, this weekend, like Steam Whistle’s version of the party.

Steam Whistle Oktoberfest

If you’ve been to a Steam Whistle event before, I can probably just stop typing and tell you to go to http://steamwhistle.ca/events/eventdetail.php?id=1062 and let you have at it.  If you need more convincing, it’s at the Roundhouse, will be hosted by George Cash and the Oktoberfest Express, and will be rife with awesome people drinking steins of Steam Whistle.  Everything you want in a decent Oktoberfest party.

But have I got news for you!  I’ve got a pair of passes to give away to one lucky beer fan in Toronto.  And how, pray, will you prove yourself worthy of such a prize?  Well, a while ago, Fred and I did a beer break with Steam Whistle leading up to Toronto Festival of Beer.  Tell me what kind of hat I was wearing in the video.  All correct entries will be pooled, and a random winner will be chosen.  Entries must be received by 12pmEST Thursday September 19th.
