Some Technical Notes

I don’t know if any of you readers manage any websites, and if so, if you use Google Analytics, but let me tell you:  It’s scary.  Between the info I get from GA and the reports WordPress generates, if you’ve posted a comment on this site, I think I can sell your house and we’ve probably had sex.

But the good news is this:  I’m very pleased to report that despite global statistics, to date 43.3% of users have viewed TorontoBeerBlog using Firefox.  When you add in the 17.94% who used Safari, we move into the majority, and easily cover the measley 24.64% still using IE.  Proving that beer folks have good taste, not just in their mouth, but in their choice of browsers.

I’m also really excited to note that my number one source of traffic is Google/Organic.  That means people who are finding me via searches.  So if you’re reading this and you stumbled upon the site via a search, I wish you a very warm welcome, and hope you enjoy what you’ve found.  For the rest of you, for goodness sake, how many times must I remind you about your shoes on the carpet?

Anyways, thanks to all my readers who are making Google work for the nothing I’m paying them.  I probably would still do this if you all weren’t here, but it sure makes it more fulfiling.
