In the kind of good news that is just very good, Paul Dickey has announced that The Stinking Rose, the restaurant owned by Church-Key Brewing in Campbellford Ontario, will be pouring the first Keg of Unfiltered ESB from his brand-new brewery. Cheshire Valley has had beers represented at both the Volo PA/IPA challenge, and the Golden Taps (and was my vote for Best in Show), as Paul has been hard at work on his own system located at the Black Oak Brewery, getting production up and ready for distribution. What I’ve had so far has been nothing short of excellent, though with Paul at the helm, that is hardly a surprise. Word is, Volo, C’est What, and the Victory will have the ESB in the near-distant future, and I must say, I cannot wait. I contemplated making the drive to Campbellford for it tomorrow. I haven’t ruled it out yet, either.
