Slow Food Northumberland presents an Ark of Taste event at the Stinking Rose Pub, Monday April 5th from 6:30 to 8 pm.

K0L 1L0Come out and taste the mouth watering flavour of “Tamworth” pork slow cooked with Holy Smoke BBQ sauce, on our own glorious heritage “Red Fife Wheat ” bun, accompanied by Maple baked Great Northern beans and braised red Cabbage with wild berries.
This is our first official event of the season, so come out and join us for dinner and a little music. Members of Slow that joined up at our first two meetings can pick up their membership cards and will get 2.50 off their dinner that evening!

Despite being a vegetarian, I would seriously consider the drive for this event, if only it weren’t on a Monday (the one night a week I work). If you go, let me know how it went.
