So this year, @muskokabrewery has tweaked, to the point of rebuilding, their Summerweisse. What used to be a refreshing, nicely yeasty wit has been reborn as a juicy tropical American Wheat, and it is an absolute banger. Huge tropical notes with pineapple, mango, and guava. It’s nearly like drinking a citrus beer cocktail 🍹 Smooth creamy body, with a slightly tart fruity lingering hoppy finish. This will be in the top bracket of beers to enjoy on the patio or the dock this year, whether that’s people watching on the streets of #Toronto, or soaking up the #Muskoka summer sun at the lake. Throw some chèvre on a platter with some salty crackers for an afternoon snack, or pair it with a nice piece of Mahi Mahi, grilled on the bbq with a sour spicy citrus glaze. What an absolute beauty! .
