@napaneebeer Mayday Belgian Pale Ale grabbing a few of the late day rays, making me think of warmer weeks to come. Big Belgian yeasty notes and sweet notes from caramelly malts and possibly some candi sugar, give way to a vinous and somewhat fruity hit that finishes dry with some traces of malts. Not sure that I would have called this one a Belgian pale ale, personally, but it’s quite nice. More in the golden ale category for myself, but there’s certainly enough hops to make an argument either way. Or maybe something like “Belgian-influenced British pale ale”. There’s a lot more malt in here. Not what I was expecting but not unpleasant. .
