So, summer time equals good beer events, and this one is no different.
Tomorrow I’ll be sipping cask IPAs and Pale ales, trying to decide which one is the best. I have high hopes for number 7. It was at this event last year, that I first tasted Mike Duggan’s No 9 IPA. Hmmmm, it would probably do to tell you what the event is: Only the Mighty Bar Volo’s 2nd Annual Ontario Cask IPA Challenge 2010: Round Two (okay, it was round one when I tasted No 9, but whatever). We’re down to nine competitors, and I’m ready to drink them all! Things start at 4pm tomorrow, and I’ll be there, happy to drink with all.
Speaking of Volo, HMH Negotiants is doing a series of events with Microbrasserie Charlevoix around Toronto. Check here for more info, but there are events, west, east, and central.
