Most people probably know that Prince William and Kate Middleton are being married today. And I’ll admit, I’ve been up since 4am watching online. And of course, I’m drinking a beer. What beer, you ask? Duchy Originals by Waitrose, Old Ruby Ale. So why this beer? Well, it’s lovely for one thing, and it’s made in England. But beyond that, Duchy Originals is a company Prince Charles started to promote sustainable organic farming in England. They produce a variety of products by license, from biscuits to beer. Many small organic producers are able to have their products sold on a national or even international level, because of Duchy Originals. So, I’m toasting the future king with his Father’s beer.
